Finding Ghurub
Assalamualaikum, at last I managed to edit this post. Well, on 1st July, I had a trip with MARA family (akhawat's trip only). I've paid 80 genih two days before the trip and packed my things.
We went to Matrouh which is 330 km from Alexandria. This trip was given a title "Finding Ghurub". Ghurub or in Arabic, غروب means sunset. Why? You'll know the answer after this.

So we left our hostel at 5.30 a.m. and arrived Marsa Matrouh around 11 a.m. We just ate our breakfast and sight-seeing the beach. I preferred to walk with my best friends. First, we bought a beach cap. Then, we drank 'asir (juice) and bought Habbatus Sauda' (seeds) at the shop nearby the Marsa beach.
After Zuhur prayer, we went to Suk Libya. I bought a skirt for my sister, T-shirts for my brother and father, Habbatus Sauda' (liquid form), and Za'faran (dried flower).

Next, we went to Hammam Cleopatra, Cleopatra was the Queen of the Pharaoh. Hammam means washroom. There was a small cave where Cleopatra used to bath in and in front of it there was a rock carved like a cat, seems like the 'guard' of the hammam. Okay, let's see some of the pictures :-

Next destination is the Ajiba Bay. Walid said that in the evening, the sunset will refract the sea water giving seven colours of the rainbow. But only during the high tide. This is the key point of finding the Ghurub. Before that, I've took same pictures.

sunset
We couldn't see the rainbow spectrum because during sunset, we sat down in front of the bus enjoying our dinner. Thanks to Ummi for the delicious sambal ikan bilis and the Charlie's packet (the one from the Ops Pyramid army food pack). We enjoyed so much there such as shopping, enjoying the scenery, bathing, eating meals with friends like one BIG family. Our journey ended as we headed to Alexandria after Maghrib prayer. We arrived home around 2.30 a.m.
